157 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Engine Noise"

I'm driving a renault duster with manual transmission (hand brake, ignition, start, drive 10 minutes, open windows, close windows, stop, turn off the engine). Recorded on the sony pcm d-100 (it's lying on the front passenger seat).

I was looking for the sound of a hot engine clicking and found just one with lots of background noises. So i decided to build it from scratch in bitwig studio and this is it. The sound starts with fast clicking slowing down. It's not perfect, you can still hear it's made from samples. But as the sound is normally used at low volume, i think i can get away with it. Feel free to add a gate and shape it even further. I may upload an updated version later.

Riding new flyer c40lf bus in brooklyn, ny. Here we hear the engine sound during acceleration braking, as well as pneumatics and doors of a bus - riding through crowded streets of brooklyn, ny. You can also hear passengers' voices, street noises, cars' horns, etc. The bus is powered by natural gas. The sound was recorded in a rear section of a bus.

Class 52 “western” diesel-hydraulic locomotive, d1015 “western champion”, powered by two maybach md655 units (each developing 1,350 bhp). Recorded at cardiff central railway station, south wales, uk, 27 october 2007. Background station noises are also recorded, “western champion” is heard with the maybachs idling whilst the locomotive is at rest. The change in engine pitch is when “western champion” accelerates away from the station pulling a train of eight coaches. Recorded, hand held, using built-in microphone to a pentax opti 750z digital camera.

This is the ambience i created for my sci-fi sitcom accidentally reckless of a dropship of some kind approaching a battlefield (and certain death). The bare bones was created from a field recording of the x-1 bus going down attercliffe road towards sheffield city centre, during a period in 2017 when they were constantly resurfacing the stretch that goes past the swingers club, resulting in the bone shaking rattling sounds you can hear. I then layered on some laser and rocket noises (already uploaded) and some engine type sound effects and shuttle flypast effects that i don't think i've uploaded yet. Recorder was just a couple of feet from the wheel so most of the kids noises and even the tractor engine get drowned out, but still somewhat audible in spots. There are two recordings, one taken from the side with the mic at the wheel and one with the mic under the trailer while recording. (this is the one with the recorder under the trailer. ).
